1. What First Nation tribes lived here? What are some of the geographical characteristics of this region?
Europeans were the first nation tribes that lived here
The Rocky mountains, Rivers, and trees



2. What kind of foods was available? What did they do to obtain and preserve food?
  • There were fresh water fish , game animals, birds, nuts, and berries
  • To get the food they needed, some of them hunted for food and others gathered together for food
  • Salmon was the main food for them to eat because it was found most often
  • In the summer alot of Salmon would be availble to eaten





3. What kind of shelters did these First Nations groups build? What building materials did they use? How did this kind of shelters meet their needs?
The First nations peoples shelters were Tipi's. They built Tipi's because they need to move around quite often because they need to keep up with the game. (Game: To hunt animals quietly o.o so they can get food). But mostly they bulit Tipi's. They
used animal skin for the roof top for there Tipi.




4. What did they use for transportation? What is it made of?
They mostly used their foot to travel




5. What did they celebrate?
The tribes of the plateau had alot of celebrations for children. Like first game killed or the first fish caught by the boys. They also held a celebration when a girl picks her first root or berry. In some ceremonies the people would just sing or dance.They also held a celebration when a girl reaches puberty. There was also a ceremony for boys who are ready for winter called a "Whipping Ceremony'




6. How was power shared in their families, their tribe? What can you comment on the differences and similarities between the way power is shared among your family members that in this first nations group?
The power was shared by when they were working together as a group and they discuss problems and there tribe was Inuit. The differences between our lives and there lives were ALOT different because our life is more stable and people have jobs to make money, and to support there selves and others. While the Inuit need to hunt there food and make there own cothes and shelter. Aren't you guys happy that we live in a normal life and that the Inuit people had to hunt animals just to make food and clothes for there selves?
